In April of 2007, SmartCity signed an agreement with the Government of Malta to develop SmartCity Malta. Forming an important business gateway to the EU and North Africa, SmartCity Malta is a vibrant hub for knowledge-based industry excellence in the heart of the Mediterranean region.
