Government of Kerala
In May of 2007, SmartCity signed the joint venture agreement with the Government of Kerala to develop SmartCity Kochi in India. A few years later, in February of 2011, SmartCity signed the Lease Agreement with the Government of Kerala to start SmartCity Kochi. The project follows the SmatCity ethos, and is set to bring together all the essential elements of daily life. Commercial, hospitality and residential spaces are well integrated, within an urban, yet natural setting.
Government of Malta
In April of 2007, SmartCity signed an agreement with the Government of Malta to develop SmartCity Malta. Forming an important business gateway to the EU and North Africa, SmartCity Malta is a vibrant hub for knowledge-based industry excellence in the heart of the Mediterranean region.
